A group of home buyers of the Godrej Air project in Sector 85, Gurugram, protects outside the under constructed property. The buyers protests over the delays of delivery of flats by Godrej Properties. The customers have alleged that the developer promised to delivers projects in 2023. But, the flats are yet to constructed.
In a post on the Instagram page named “we want ownership,” the buyers have explained their ordeal. The user has captioned the post as, “Thinking of investing in Godrej’s new launches or new properties? Please hear us out. Before you put money into any ‘new launch,’ ask where the old ones went.
Godrej Properties Project
The Godrej Air Project, per the Hindustan Times released in 2018. It has over 512 properties, per the home buyers ‘ reviews, HT. The project has 2 BHK, 3 BHK, and 4 BHK apartments, and they sold among Rs. 1.5 and Rs. 2.5 crore. The developer mentioned that there are 511 customers in the projects.
Real estate developer denied allegations of customers
Amid the allegations by the flat owners, Godrej Properties, the developer building the properties, has denied the allegations and is confident that it will be devoted to completing the project and delivering all of the promised services.
Asked about the home customers’ concerns, a Godrej Properties spokesperson speaking to Hindustan Times said: “We continue to interact with all house owners of Godrej Air, and keep them update on the Project’s progress. We had carried out for a provide of Occupation Certificate (OC) to the Department of Town and Country Planning, Haryana, and ensures essential compliances, and are in the final stages of acquiring the OC (anticipated by August).
