India’s 28 listed real estate companies have sold properties worth ₹53,000 crore in the April-June quarter. Prestige Estates recorded the highest sales bookings. The total combined sales bookings of these 28 listed realtors reached ₹52,842 crore in the first quarter of this financial year.
Prestige Estates leading in real estate sales
In terms of sales bookings, Bengaluru-based Prestige Estates Projects Ltd was the leading player in the April-June quarter of FY26. It record pre-sales of ₹12,126.4 crore. DLF Ltd, the largest realty firm by market capitalisation. It is ranked second with pre-sales of ₹11,425 crore, driven by the luxury home market in Gurugram.
Mumbai-based Godrej Properties achieved sales bookings of ₹7,082 crore. Lodha Developers sold properties worth ₹4,450 crore during the June quarter. Delhi-NCR-based Signature Global had sales bookings of ₹2,640 crore in the same period.
28 real estate firms made 71% of total sales
Notably, these top five developers accounted for 71 % of the total combined sales bookings made by the 28 listed realty firms, include Prestige Estates. Most of these sales bookings involved residential properties, as demand has increased since the COVID pandemic. Major branded real estate developers have gained the most from this recovery, both in volume and value, as homebuyers have become more cautious.
Among other listed firms, Bengaluru-based Sobha Ltd and Delhi-based Omaxe Ltd sold properties valued at ₹2,079 crore and ₹2,001 crore. Mumbai-based Oberoi Realty Ltd and Kalpataru Ltd reported sales bookings of ₹1,639 crore and ₹1,249 crore, respectively. Bengaluru-based Puravankara Ltd and Brigade Enterprises Ltd sold properties worth ₹1,124 crore and ₹1,118 crore, respectively. Sales bookings for Mumbai-based Keystone Realtors, which operates under the Rustomjee brand, were ₹1,068 crore.
