A marriage in Jhansi’s Raxa end just after 18 hours of the marriage when the groom know that the bride belonged to a different caste. The UP Marriage held at a nearby temple on June 27 following Hindu rituals. However, the groom’s family claimed that the bride’s caste identity had been hidden throughout initial discussions.

According to the groom’s father, the family tell that the bride belonged to the same caste. The girl brother demands ₹50,000 as a precondition for the wedding, of which ₹20,000 was paid upfront. The wedding was held at Badi Mata Mandir with complete traditional rituals.
Bride sent back to her home
Tensions escalated on UP Marriage dispute, allegedly under influence of alcohol, the bride’s brother revealed that they belonged to another caste. A dispute was occurs, and the groom’s family took the bride back home.
The next day, each household reached at the local police station, where they decided to break wedding by mutual consent. The bride go back with her brother. No formal criticism was filed. Authorities recommended that the parties seek annulment through the legal process.
