Indian Vlogger Detained 15 Hours in China Over Arunachal Posts

Indian Vlogger Anant Mittal, known online as On Road Indian detained in China due to his comments about Arunachal Pradesh. In his Instagram post, he shared a video describing this troubling experience.

Chinese officers detained Indian Vlogger

The incident happened on 16 November. Chinese authorities held him for around 15 hours before letting him go. He emphasizes that he has no political ties or bad intentions. He wants to show the world his travels.

“I have no hate for anyone. I just love everyone and share this world with you through my eyes. I’m not linked to any political agenda,” he wrote.

Anant mentioned that he studied in the Northeast for three years and feels a strong connection to the region. He became emotional when heard about an Arunachal citizen detained in China. He made a video about it, which sparked the situation.

Now back to India safely

He confirmed he was safely back in India and had uploaded the full story to YouTube. He added that the video not made under pressure and that he was expressing his true feelings. “I’m sorry if I hurt anyone. I’m very small in front of these big powers. I am still crying while writing this caption,” he wrote.

“I am already back in India safely. I’m not uploading this video under any pressure. I’m just speaking from the heart to everyone. Namaste,” he wrote.  In the video, Indian Vlogger shared a detailed account of his scary experience in China. He said he stopped at immigration as soon as he entered the country.

A sticker placed on his passport, which set off an alert in their system. An officer took him to a detention area where several other foreign nationals held. When no one spoke to him for two hours, he realized the situation was serious.
