Amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Amazon announced on Monday that its Amazon Web Services (AWS) region in Bahrain has been disrupted. A company spokesperson attributed the outage to drone activity in the area, according to a Reuters report.

“As this situation evolves, we ask those with workloads in the affected regions to move to other locations,” Amazon said.
Amazon stated that it is helping customers transfer to different Amazon regions during the recovery process. It did not provide more details about the damage or how long the disruption is expected to last.
Cause power outages, affects many government websites
Amazon’s cloud computing division, AWS, is crucial for many popular websites and government functions. It also provides most of the company’s profits.
This is the second time the Bahrain region has faced disruptions related to drones since the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict began. Earlier this month, AWS reported power outages in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates and was working to restore services.
