OpenAI has launched the new subscription tier, called as Chatgpt Go in India. Its subscription is starts at 399 per month. This new service is designed to give access of popular features to users like high use limits, image generations, file uploads and extended memory.
The vice president and head Nick Turley of Chatgpt has announced that Chatgpt Go roll out in India before expands in other countries. He reports that the biggest requests of Indian users is the local payment options, which the new tier directly addresses.
10x message limits, image generations, file uploads with Chatgpt Go
With Chatgpt GO, users get ten times more message limit, ten times more image generations, 10 times more file uploads, and the memory size is doubled compared to the free plan. It creates a practical option for students, freelancers and professionals that often find free schemes restrictive, but may not require a full set of features offered under Plus or Pro.
Another important update is a change in the price of Indian rupee at membership levels. All users in India will now look at the prices displayed in INR, cause confusion around currency conversions. For the first time, Openai UPI is also allowing payment through India’s most widely used digital payment method. This step makes a payment plan simple and more accessible to large audiences.
New Go Plan starts at Rs 399
Chatgpt currently offers four levels: free plan with limited use, new go plan in rupee. 399, Plus Plan Price Rs. 1,999, and pro -plan Rs. 19,999. The aim of Go Tier is to reduce the gap between free and plus, making users a breathing space for daily use at low cost.
The Indo-first rollouts highlight the openi’s strategy for AI adoption in cost-sensitive markets by offering flexible and locally relevant options. This reflects a change in the direction of making the generative AI tool more inclusive, not only for business and premium users, but also for students and individuals, for students and individuals using Chatgpt Go for creative projects and work.
