Elon Musk Announce Grok 4 Launch date (9 July) and livestream details

Elon Musk has confirmed that the latest model of XAI’s Grok language model will launch this week. The billionaire showed that the release scheduled for 9 July at 8 pm Pacific Time, which translates to 8.30 am IST on Thursday. It comes after Musk post that Grok 4 will comes ‘only after 4 July’. There are rumors comes surrounding announcements after Musk promised a Grok 3.5 launch to SuperGrok users in May, but evidently the company is now transferring forward to new model amid rising competition in the AI area.

Grok 4 Live stream Starts on 9 July at 8 PM

Confirming the release in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Musk wrote, “Grok 4 launch livestream on Wednesday at 8 pm PT @xAI” Grok 3.5 was to begin with expectations to mark a prime development over earlier models, but xAI finally overhauled parts of the training systems, leading the group to move forward with a new technology alternatively.

Duties Carried out by New XAI Model

In the lead-up to the release, users on X have yet again found mentions of several upcoming Grok 4 versions. Among them is a model named “ Grok 4 -prod-mimic,” that set to carry out well in industry-targeted responsibilities which includes data extraction, programming, and content summarization.

The model prepared with information throughout specialised fields like finance, healthcare, legal research, and clinical research. However, “grok-four-prod-mimic” isn’t the best addition to the Grok family. Another upcoming variant, known as “Grok 4 Code,” defined in xAI’s console as a committed “coding partner,” tailored to help developers with programming tasks.
