Elon Musk-owned xAI and launched the latest flagship AI model, the Grok 3. The new model was launched by improving features for Grok apps on iOS and web platforms. The release highlights the milestone in the competitive world of AI. After Elon Musk launch latest Grok 3 AI, it become the worthy competitor of OpenAI’s GPT-4o, and beat it. Grok 3 will analyze pictures and generate responses to queries. It improves user experience on Musk’s social network, X.
Musk launch the latest Grok 3 AI, houses around 200,000 GPUs
The development of Grok 3 was held in a massive data centre in Memphis. It housed over 200,000 GPUs. As per Musk, Grok 3 uses 10x more computing power than its predecessor, Grok 2. As it is trained on the big dataset, it also includes court case documents.
It is not a single model but a family of models with unique features. Grok 3 mini is smaller version of the model, and provide you quick Responses, with less accuracy. Two other versions, Grok 3 mini Reasoning and Grok 3 Reasoning built to “think through” problems before give solutions. You can use reasoning models by the Grok app to handle complex problem-solving tasks.
Grok 3 outperforms GPT-4o, introduce voice mode
Musk launch latest Grok 3 AI and it outperforms the GPT-4o in benchmark tests such as GPQA and AIME. It tests the model’s performance on math questions and PhD-level science problems. The early version of Grok 3 scored in Chatbot Arena. xAI says Grok 3 Reasoning beats the highest version of o3-mini — o3-mini high — on various benchmarks.
Grok 3 will available with voice mode in coming weeks, Musk announced. The model are also integrated into xAI’s API with the DeepSearch feature. Currently, Grok 3 is available to X’s Premium+ subscribers. There’s also a new subscription known as SuperGrok for the Grok.com website and the Grok mobile app.
