MANAV stands for Moral and ethical systems, Accountable governance, National sovereignty, Accessible and inclusive technology, and Valid and legitimate systems. This framework aims to guide global AI development with a focus on ethics, transparency, and data sovereignty.
Referring to his vision shared at the summit, Shah said, “India’s AI vision MANAV, introduced by ModiJi at #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026, sets humanity’s direction toward a secure future. With principles of morality, national data sovereignty, accessibility, and valid systems, the world is ready for the next civilizational leap.”

On the same day, PM outlined the MANAV Vision at the AI Impact Summit 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam. He highlighted India’s status as home to the largest youth population, the biggest tech talent pool, and technology ecosystem. He focused that the country adopts new technologies quickly, with 1.4 billion Indians ready to embrace innovation.
He called artificial intelligence a transformative chapter in human history. He said, “We must democratize AI. It must become a tool for inclusion and empowerment, especially for the Global South.
