Mukesh Ambani Announce Launch of Reliance Intelligence, AI Infrastructure Capabilities for India

Reliance Industries Chairman and MD Mukesh Ambani announced the launch of Reliance Intelligence. This new initiative will provide India’s next-generation AI infrastructure. Ambani mentioned that Reliance Intelligence will build gigawatt-scale AI-ready data centres powered by green energy. The company has started building data centres in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

He outlined four main goals for Reliance Intelligence, to give India’s next-generation AI infrastructure, to support global partnerships, to create AI services for India, and to nurture AI talent. “It is my great pleasure and privilege to announce the formation of a newly owned subsidiary of Reliance called Reliance Intelligence. This new company designed with four clear missions. Firstly, to house India’s next-generation AI infrastructure,” said Mukesh Ambani during the 48th AGM.

“Work has already begun on the gigawatt-scale, AI-ready data centers in Jamnagar. These facilities will completed in phases to meet India’s growing needs, powered by Reliance’s new-energy ecosystem, and specifically designed for AI training and inference,” he said.

Reliance intelligence offers AI Services to Education, Healthcare and More Sectors

Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance Intelligence will provide trusted, user-friendly AI services for consumers, small businesses, and enterprises. He also mentioned that crucial sectors like education, healthcare, and agriculture would benefit from these services. It will be reliable at scale and affordable for every Indian.

At the event, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that Meta and Reliance will provide open-source AI models to Indian businesses to support their growth. “Meta and Reliance are going to deliver our open-source AI models to Indian businesses to help them fuel their work. With Llama, we have seen how AI can boost human potential, enhance productivity, inspire creativity, and boost innovation,” Mark Zuckerberg said.
