MG Motor India will unveil its most recent model, the M9 MPV, on the stage of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, which falls on January 17, 2025. This display would offer auto fans an eye-scan experience of the lavishly styled, three-rowed MPV at a time preceding the car’s scheduled March launch. This super-premium offering had previously seen its launch with the nomenclature of the Mifa 9 MPV in Auto Expo 2023.
MG Motor India into the Luxury Segment, With M9 MPV
The M9 MPV is MG’s second model that will be retailed through its premium dealerships, MG Select. The company had recently unveiled the MG Cyberster electric sports car. The premium dealership network will initially consist of 12 outlets across India, targeting high-end customers.
Luxurious Features That Redefine Comfort
MG M9 has designed space and luxury in its body, and that is reflected in a lounge-like experience for the seven passengers that it carries. It does steal the scene with second-row seats with the ottoman recline, designed with eight massage functions and with the option of full recline. It is also supported by the following:
- Three-zone climate control
- Independent touchscreen for the second row
- Ambient lighting with rear entertainment screens
- Dual-pane sunroof
- Power sliding rear doors
The front cabin is not any less impressive. It has a large touchscreen system set off by Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, ventilated seats with driver-side memory, cooled glovebox, and auto-dimming IRVM.
Design That Strikes a Powerful Cord Meets the High-Range Technology
The M9 boasts a sleek, yet boxy MPV silhouette with outstanding features. They include a chrome-heavy grille, LED light bar, and split headlights. It also sports a modern design feature at the rear: sleek vertical taillights that are connected via an LED strip. Beneath its bodywork, it will allegedly use a 90 kWh battery that can manage up to a WLTP-certified 430 km.
In Premium Segment Competition
With its luxury and new-age technology mixed together, this M9 MPV is touted to compete stiffly with the likes of Kia Carnival among Indian customers about a new standard in family luxurious travel.
