Price
The Punch facelift is priced between Rs 9.69 lakh and Rs 12.59 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant and battery pack. Tata Motors has positioned the updated EV closer to the price of similar ICE-powered models in the entry-level segment.
To reduces the upfront cost, company is also offering a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option. With this model, the Punch.ev purchased for a starting price of Rs 6.49 lakh, with a separate battery subscription that costs Rs 2.6 per kms. This financing option aims to make it easier for first-time EV buyers.
A key highlight of the update is the introduction of a new 40kWh battery pack. This larger battery offers an ARAI-certified (P1+P2) range of 468 km and a claimed C75 real-world range of about 355 km. This makes it suitable for daily commuting and short intercity trips.
