Today, Indian gold prices marginally came down as 24-carat gold dropped ₹10 down to ₹7805.3 per gram. Like this, the 22-carat variety is also Rs 10 reduced to price at ₹7156.3 per gram. A moderate fall being seen in a broader sequence, 24-carat gold has witnessed a 1.35% drop in value over the week and lost 4.06% in the last month.

The silver market also saw a cut of ₹100, taking it to ₹95,500 per kg. All this speaks of the volatile precious metals market about shifting global and domestic factors.

Indian Gold Prices in Major North Indian Cities

Gold prices in India today were marginally different in the key northern cities. In Delhi, 24-carat gold was selling at ₹78,053 per 10 grams, down from ₹79,033 the previous day. Jaipur also witnessed a similar decline, with prices at ₹78,046 compared to yesterday’s ₹79,026.

Meanwhile, Lucknow reported 24-carat gold at ₹78,069 per 10 grams, which is a significant fall from ₹79,049 the previous day. Chandigarh now stands at ₹78,062, down from ₹79,042. However, Amritsar reported the lowest rate among these cities at ₹77,930 per 10 grams, which shows a steady trend compared to last week.

Silver Rates Across North Indian Cities

Silver prices were also altered in northern cities. Delhi witnessed a rate decrease to ₹95,500 per kg, with similar rates reported in Jaipur at ₹95,900, Lucknow at ₹96,400, and Chandigarh at ₹94,900. These cuts indicate a more general influence on silver prices in India today.
