A 25-year-old woman shot inside a club in Gurugram after she rejects a marriage proposal from a man on. The incident occurred on December 20 on MG Road. Police received reports of a woman injured in a shooting and found her hospitalized, where she was initially unable to give a statement.
Gurugram club worker shot dead after rejects marriage proposal
The woman’s husband, who lives in Najafgarh, Delhi, filed a complaint stating that his wife, Kalpana (25), worked at a club in Gurugram and shot by Tushar, a resident of Sangam Vihar, Delhi.
In his complaint, the husband mentioned that his wife went to work on December 19 and called him around 1 a.m. to say she shot. “About a month ago, Tushar came to our house, got into a fight with us, and left,” the husband said.
Police arrest two main suspects
Based on this complaint, an FIR filed at the Sector 29 police station. During the investigation, a crime unit team arrested two suspects, Tushar alias Jonty (25) and his friend Shubham alias Jony (24), both from Sangam Vihar, in Baraut, Uttar Pradesh.
During questioning, Tushar admitted that he became friends with the victim around six months ago and wanted to marry her. However, she kept rejecting him. Gurugram Police claimed that on the night of December 19, Tushar and Shubham went to the club, proposed again, and shot the woman when she refused. Both suspects arrested and are being interrogated, while further investigation continues.
