Officials reveals the Baba Revenge chilling plan behind delhi blast
Top intelligence sources report that the members of the suspected terror group revealed during questioning that they had devised a step-by-step plan for carrying out a series of blasts in the National Capital Region. Officials shared details of the five-phase plan
- Phase 1: Formation of the terror group linked with Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind.
- Phase 2: Acquisition of raw materials to assemble improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and obtain ammunition from Nuh and Gurugram in Haryana.
- Phase 3: Production of lethal chemical IEDs and scouting for possible target locations.
- Phase 4: Distribution of assembled bombs among group members after scouting.
- Phase 5 (Final): Carrying out coordinated bombings at six to seven locations in Delhi.
Jaish-e-Mohammed issued several threats
According to investigators, the original plan was to execute the attacks in August of this year. However, a new date set due to operational delays: December 6, the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition.
The 16th-century mosque, believed to built at the site of Lord Ram’s birthplace, brought down by a mob on December 6, 1992. After a long Supreme Court battle, a new Ram Temple constructed at the same site in Delhi. Construction began in 2020 and concluded this year.
For years, Jaish-e-Mohammed has issued threats and called for revenge for the demolition of the Babri Masjid, officials emphasize. In fact, Jaish chief Masood Azhar has promised to target Ayodhya in his weekly columns.
