Delhi Man Dead Over Long Time Family Fight, 69 Bullets Found Inside Body

A 52-year-old man shot dead in South Delhi Aya Nagar. This violence resulted from a long-fight between two families. Police investigations show that the victim, Rattan Lohia shot multiple times; they found 69 bullets in his body. The assailants fired from a car, and the police are looking into the possibility that it was a contract killing.

Delhi Man shot dead over family rivalry

According to sources, gangsters based outside India hired to kill Rattan Lohia. The murder occurred when Rattan Lohia left his house for work early on November 30. A group of men surrounded him and opened fire. He died on the spot. When the police arrived at the crime scene, they found empty bullet shells and three live cartridges.

CCTV footage from around 6 am showed three assailants waiting for Rattan in a black Nissan Magnite near the Sunday market in Aya Nagar. The footage indicated that the car’s number plates removed.

Family blames Rambir Lohia behind murder

Rattan’s family claims that the murder carried out by Rambir Lohia and his relatives in revenge for Rambir’s son Arun’s death. On May 15, Arun was returning home in his car when two men on a motorcycle shot him. In connection with Arun’s death, Rattan’s elder son, Deepak arrested.

Rattan’s daughter told the news agency ANI that Rambir and his relatives had been threatening her father for a long time. She mentioned that her father had no personal conflicts with anyone. Meanwhile, Rattan’s sister stated that the family feud began due to a conflict between the younger generation.
