A English teacher from a Elite Mumbai school has arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. She faces fees of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old male student from Class 11 on numerous occasions over a year.
Police stated the 40-year-old teacher, who’s married and has children, allegedly was attracted to the boy throughout dance organization conferences in late 2023. The boy to start with averted her.

POCSO punishes three most important types of sexual crimes: sexual assault, sexual harassment, and using a child in pornography. “Any act achieved with sexual purpose on a children regarding physical touch” is considered sexual assault under the POCSO Act.
Under the POCSO Act, penetrative sexual assault on a child is handled as a serious crime. It is punished more strictly than other types of sexual abuse. In this case and serious charges, the Elite Mumbai school teacher has been arrested.
