Jealous Haryana Woman drown 3 Girls, Kill own son

On Wednesday, police arrested the woman accused of drowning four children in water tubs or tanks. The investigation started after the death of a six-year-old girl in Naultha village. Initially, her death seemed accidental, but later circumstances raised suspicions about the drowning.

According to police, the woman targeted girls she thought were prettier than her. She is said to have killed her sister-in-law’s daughter in Bohad village, Sonipat, in 2023 and later drowned her own son to avoid drawing suspicion. Additional murders happened at her maternal home and most recently during a wedding in Naultha village, where her niece Vidhi was killed.

Police solve case within 36 hours of murder

Each death occurred in a similar way, with the children found drowned in shallow water. One tub used was only one foot deep, causing investigators to question whether the death could be accidental, given the child’s height. Police said that the Haryana Woman would kill girls she saw as prettier than herself. Officials reported that after committing the crimes, she would celebrate.

“The cruel aunt would killed girls she considered more beautiful than herself,” a senior police official told India Today. The case was solved within 36 hours of the latest incident. Upon questioning, she admitted to killing four children, three of whom were related to her, and one was her own son.
