A private hospital owner and the son of a BJP leader, Vikas Sharma was brutally stabbed to death by unidentified assailants on Rampura Road in Jind’s Safidon city late Thursday night time, police said. This marks the 12th murder in the district since June 20, whilst a liquor contractor was killed. The deceased identified as Vikas, son of Shiv Sharma, a former block president of the BJP in Jind district.
Vikas Sharma Killed in Murder
According to Safidon police station SHO Dinesh Kumar, the incident passed off while Anil Sharma, every other hospital owner, along together with his brother-in-law Happy, visited Vikas at his hospital and persuaded him to accompany them to Assandh. While returning, their car became intercepted by cars wearing 7–8 unidentified men.
“When Vikas asked the reason to maintain going, the organization blocked the car, surrounded it, and attacked him with knives. Anil Sharma and Happy also injured in the attack, though only mildly,” said the SHO. The injured taken to a health center in Panipat, in which docs declared Vikas dead on arrival.
Father alleged Anil Sharma behind murder
Father of Vikas Sharma, Shiv Sharma, alleged that the murder was part of a conspiracy orchestrated through Anil Sharma. He demanded the instant arrest of Anil, his brother-in-law, and others concerned, warning of a protest if action was not taken in 24 hours.
