Ever thought that something sounding like a story could be true to life? A monkey saved a 6-year-old girl from rape in a shocking incident recently reported from Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. The animal interrupted as the girl had to face an abortive rape attempt. Under the guise of playing along, a man, who is still absconding, took the little one away from home.
He took her to a deserted house and tried to rape her. However, just in time, a troop of monkeys diverted his attention, scaring him away, and possibly saving a girl’s life in the process. The juvenile had also threatened the girl to physically harm her if she resisted his advances. The girl narrated the horrific incident to her parents when she returned home.
Monkey saved a 6-year-old girl from rape: FIR launched against the man
An FIR has been lodged against the accused under sections related to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and a manhunt is on to catch hold of him. CCTV footage has recorded the images of the accused taking away the girl. Notably, he will be identified with the help of the footage. Finally, the girl’s parents thanked the monkeys appreciatively for their interference.
They assume that it was an animal effort as a monkey saved a 6-year-old girl from rape. Generally speaking, this incident pointed out how vulnerable children can be, and how community safety might be threatened. The girl reported the incident to her parents when she reached home. She threatened to kill not only her but also all members of her family, if I stopped him, the girl told the police. The statement from her parents read: “My daughter would have been dead by now if the monkeys didn’t intervene,” he said.
