In Narsinghpur, a 19-year-old girl, Sandhya Chaudhary, brutally murdered in the Narsinghpur hospital on 27 June. The attacker, identified as Abhishek Koshti, slit her throat in front of hospital staff and guards. The attack, influenced through one-sided love and suspicion of betrayal, triggered fear among patients and raised problems about hospital safety. The accused fled after the murder. Sandhya’s own family and locals staged protests disturbing strict action.
Girl Murdered in Narsinghpur hospital
Sandhya, a Class 12 student, was killed in the trauma centre around 3 PM. The accused, Abhishek Koshti, have been visible roaming in the hospital seeing that midday. He followed her when she arrived at the hospital to visit a friend’s sister-in-law in the maternity ward.
After trying to talk to her for a few minutes, he followed her to the trauma centre, caught her by surprise, slapped her, pushed her down, and sat on her chest before slitting her throat with a knife. He then stabbed himself and fled.
Accused claims she was cheating her
Abhishek told police that they met 2.5 years ago through social media. He said they had romantic relationship but suddenly, she starts ignoring him in few months and blocked his calls. He believed she was seeing with someone else and decided to “teach her a lesson”. He confessed to planning the murder , and attempt same in Narsinghpur hospital.
