In a major twist in the Meghalaya honeymoon case, the alleged lover of Sonam Raghuvanshi has been arrested by the police for plotting the murder of her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi. According to the latest media reviews, it was Raj Kushwaha who had hatched the plot to kill Raja Raghuvanshi. Married to Sonam last month, Raja Raghuvanshi’s body was found on 2 June. The police say that Sonam and Raj had been in a relationship.
Sonam Raghuvanshi Mastermind behind Husband Murder
According to reports, after allegedly murdering Raja Raghuvanshi, Kushwaha took Sonam from Meghalaya and was on the run. Kushwaha is also from Madhya Pradesh. The other three men who had been allegedly hired to kill Raja Raghuvanshi were identified as Vicky Thakur, Anand, and Akash.
According to news agency, the Meghalaya Police said that Sonam surrendered ‘under pressure’.
Meanwhile, talking about the updates in the case, Vipul Raghuvanshi, brother of the deceased Raja Raghuvanshi, expressed shock and suspicion over Sonam Raghuvanshi’s possible involvement in the homicide. Referring to her alleged connection with Raj Kushwaha, Vipul said, “I had no idea about those three–4 people involved in murder, till I heard their names.
Honeymoon Turns Into Horror Murder
Now that Raj Kushwaha’s name has surfaced, it indicates that Sonam can also had been involved in the murder. Raj Kushwaha was her worker, and they used to talk at the phone regularly.”
Both Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raja appeared happy whilst their marriage was held. We never imagined Sonam will take horror step like this. Vipul also shared info in their travel plans: “They had been only presupposed to go to Assam to offer prayers on the Maa Kamakhya Temple. Later, they informed us they had been heading to Shillong. We don’t know who planned the Meghalaya ride. They hadn’t even booked return tickets.”
