The Gurugram police said that they not seeking for statements from friends and people who posted tributes on social media over the Radhika Yadav murder. Cops calls it an “open and shut” case. They said that a charge sheet are only filed based on forensic and testimonial proofs.
Meanwhile, Yadav’s friend Himaanshika Singh Rajput, said on Instagram post that the murder was premeditated and brought on by social pressure. “She was not for feel good for past 10 days. Her father had planned the murder 3 days before it occurs,” Himaanshika said in her video.
Radhika Yadav Murder: Open and Shut case
She said that Yadav gave in to her father’s needs. She blamed the father’s friends for allegedly instigating him with comments around her clothes, make-up, and online popularity.
25-year-old Radhika Yadav’s Instagram account was private, have only 69 followers. It show that she is not social media influencer. Police said there’s no direct connection between her social media presence and murder. “The accused has confessed to the crime. These video statements are not a part of the research and not included in charge sheet,” said Gurugram Police.
Father confessed Crime
“During investigation, we specially asked Deepak Yadav to name the people that instigated him against his daughter, but he couldn’t call even a single person. We have questioned more than 20 people from Wazirabad village, such as those close to the family, and no one admitted to having this type of conversation,” he said.
While the reason behind Radhika Yadav murder is still unclear, the police said that the proof accumulated—consisting of the recovery of the murder weapon, forensic inputs, and Deepak Yadav’s confession was enough to close this case.
