A woman named Priyanka Purohit and her alleged lover suspected of planning the murder of her husband, Dev krishna, disguised as a late-night robbery at their home in Madhya Pradesh. The incident occurred in Gondikheda Charan village of Dhar district.

The woman, 27-year-old Priyanka Purohit arrested along with her alleged lover, 33-year-old Kamlesh, after the initial claim of a violent robbery quickly unraveled during the investigation. Police reported that findings showed the murder was premeditated.
Kamlesh allegedly paid around ₹1 lakh to a man named Surendra to carry out the killing, while they staged the scene to look like a break-in. Surendra is currently on the run.
Give false thief story to police
Priyanka Purohit said that three to four intruders entered the house at night, confined them to separate rooms, killed her husband, and escaped with jewellery worth ₹3 lakh and ₹50,000 in cash. However, investigators later found the supposedly stolen items inside the house, which raised suspicion.
According to ASP Parul Belapurkar, inconsistencies in Priyanka’s statements, her behavior, and the lack of mobile phone evidence suggested foul play.
