A young woman was found murdered in Borabanda, Hyderabad and cause shock among local residents on Sunday night. According to early reports, a man known to the victim allegedly committed the crime. The victim, Fathima, and the suspect, Zaheer, had met earlier at a pub in Banjara Hills. Police believe that problems arose after the woman recently changed jobs, which led to less communication between them.

Upset by this, the suspect allegedly called her to meet, claiming they needed to talk. He then attacked her with a knife and a stone, stabbing and beating her to death. The Borabanda police have detained the suspect and registered a case. They are exploring all angles related to the incident.
