Six gelatin sticks, detonators and other explosives Seized at Bengaluru Government Bus Stand

Six gelatin sticks, in form of dynamites, and some detonators found in a plastic carry bag near a toilet at a government bus stand in Bengaluru on Wednesday. It raise security concerns.  The recovery of these explosives made from Metropolitan Transport Corporation at Kalasipalya.

“Six gelatin sticks and some detonators (each one by one) have been observed in a bag outside the toilet inner Kalasipalya BMTC bus stand. FIR is yet to registered,” said S Girish, Deputy Commissioner of Police of the West Division. The government are reviewing CCTV photos from the area to pick out the individual that left the bag behind.

According to the in-charge of public lavatory on the Bengaluru bus stand, a person placed a plastic bag out of toilet around 10 am. Upon noticing the unattended bag, he contacted the BMTC mechanics, who reached the spot. After found the bag and figuring out what looked like explosives, they informed the police.
