Udaipur Case: IT Firm CEO, Female Executive, Husband Allegedly Rape Colleague After Offering Lift

Udaipur Police have arrested three people, the CEO and the executive head of a private company and her husband. They are accused of gang-raping a female employee in a moving car, officials said on Thursday.

The police took action after the survivor filed a complaint. Her statement and medical exam were recorded. The medical report confirms injury marks that support the claim of gang rape, District Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal said.

Authorities are also reviewing footage from a camera installed in the car used during the incident. Based on the evidence gathered so far, CEO Jeetesh Sisodia, executive head Shilpa Sirohi, and her husband Gaurav have been arrested. The suspects are being presented in court for further legal steps. Sisodia’s online profile indicates he is the CEO of GKM IT Private Limited.

According to the complaint, the incident occurred after a birthday and New Year party held by the company’s CEO on December 20 at a hotel in the Shobhagpura area. The survivor arrived at the hotel around 9 pm, and the party lasted until about 1:30 am. Present at the event were the CEO, a senior female executive, and her husband.

When the survivor felt intoxicated, some attendees suggested driving her home. However, the female executive allegedly invited her to an after-party. Around 1:45 am, the survivor got into a car where the CEO and the executive’s husband were already inside. They drove her home, stopped at a shop to buy smoking materials, and pressured her into smoking as well.

After smoking, the woman allegedly lost consciousness. When she later regained partial awareness, she found the CEO molesting her. She said the CEO, the female executive, and her husband then sexually assaulted her. Despite repeatedly asking to be taken home, she was dropped off only around 5 am, as per the complaint.

The survivor noted that when she fully regained consciousness, she found an earring, socks, and undergarments missing and noticed injuries to her private parts. Udaipur Police later reviewed the car’s camera footage, which reportedly recorded audio and video of the incident, forming a key part of the investigation.
