Zeeshan Akhtar arrested in Canada for alleged Baba Siddiqui murder case

Zeeshan Akhtar, an alleged key conspirator in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique “arrested” in Canada.  Akhtar (22) was held in a fake passport case, as per resources. “Zeeshan, who involved in the Baba Siddiqui murder case, now arrested in Canada. We have initiated the system to carry him again to India. We will interrogate him same,” Kadam advised PTI Videos.

As per Mumbai Police, jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi had given a contract to Zeeshan Akhtar and Shubham Lonkar to conduct NCP chief’s murder. Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister, shot dead in Bandra place on October 12, 2024. Police have arrested at the least 25 individuals in the case up to now.

As per Punjab Police investigations, Akhtar named as key conspirator behind the grenade attack on senior BJP leader and former state Minister Manoranjan Kalia’s house on 7 April. He also arrested earlier for grenade attack on YouTuber Rozer Sandhu’s house on March 16

Mumbai Police Crime Branch team starts investigation into video of Zeeshan Akhtar in February. In that video, he claimed that he secured asylum in a foreign country through sources of Pakistani gangster Shehzad Bhatti.
