Bhopal Sex Racket: Sisters Arrested of Drugging and Rapped Victims

Two separate complaints from a beautician and another woman have revealed a disturbing sex and religious conversion racket run by two sisters and their gang in Bhopal. The racket came to light after the women, a 21-year-old from Chhattisgarh and a 30-year-old from Bhopal, went to the police with similar stories. They were lured with job promises, then drugged, raped, and forced to convert. The sisters, Afreen and Amreen, have been arrested, but three others are still on the run.

The gang’s method involved targeting vulnerable girls from poor backgrounds. They lured these girls with job offers, built trust, and then sexually exploited them. The traumatic experience for the 21-year-old beautician began in November 2025. In her complaint, she recounted that Amreen took her to Abbas Nagar in Bhopal to meet relatives.

Sisters arrested inside the Bhopal Sex Racket

She did not expect the horror that followed. There, she claimed Amreen’s brother, Bilal, mixed a drug in her tea and raped her while she was unconscious.

The next month, Amreen took her to Ahmedabad under the guise of personal business. In Ahmedabad, she met a man named Yasir, who also raped her. She said that Chandan Yadav, a close associate of Amreen, sexually assaulted her multiple times between August 2025 and January 2026.

Survivor Statement and Expose of the Sex Racket

The survivor claimed she was threatened when she resisted and was blackmailed with photos taken in compromising situations. However, the ordeal did not end there. Over the following weeks, she said she was forced to wear revealing clothes and taken to pubs to meet rich men.

While there, she claimed she was pressured to use drugs. On several occasions, she suffered sexual assaults. Amid all this, she was also coerced to convert to a different religion and made to wear a burqa. Ultimately, she managed to escape in January and went to Chhattisgarh to stay with her maternal uncle. She returned to Bhopal in February and filed a complaint at the Bagsewania police station on February 22.
