A team from the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) Meerut unit and the Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) has arrested two person in SSC MTS exam cheating racket in Dehradun. Brijesh Kumar Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police for the Meerut unit of the UP STF, informed that the arrested suspects are Nitish Kumar, who lives in Deoria district (Uttar Pradesh), and Bhaskar Naithani, a resident of Dehradun (Uttarakhand).

Singh said the suspects caught during an operation in the Kotwali police station area of Dehradun district. Preliminary investigations show that the gang helped candidates cheat through computer hacking at the Mahadev Digital Zone exam center for the SSC MTS recruitment test, which was managed by Eduquity.
Hack exam server, police seize internet router
Singh noted that the suspects allegedly assisted candidates by creating remote access using local networking and a proxy server setup. Police seized four mobile phones, two laptops, and an internet router from them. He also mentioned that the involvement of other people linked to the gang is under investigation.
