Breakdown within the AAP Party occurs after the demotion of Raghav Chadha. Tensions rise when the Chadha post the video and accused AAP to try to silence him. AAP Hits Back at Raghav Chadha
“For the past few years, you have become afraid, Raghav. You are afraid to speak against Modi. You are afraid to raise the real issues of the country,” said AAP national media chief Anurag Dhanda, indicating a growing divide.
On Thursday, AAP removed Raghav Chadha, MP from Punjab, as Rajya Sabha deputy leader and replaced him with Ashok Mittal. Dhanda criticized Chadha’s actions in Parliament, saying the party has limited time to speak and needs to focus on serious national issues.
Removal from Rajya Sabha Deputy Leader Post
Dhanda’s strong criticism of Raghav Chadha came soon after the AAP MP shared a video message on X, stating he silenced by his own party but remained undeterred.
“Whenever I get a chance, I raise issues concerning the people in Parliament, including topics that often overlooked. But is it an offense to talk about people’s problems? Did I commit any crime?” Chadha asked.
“The AAP informed Parliament that I should not be given a chance to speak. I would like to tell them, do not mistake my silence for defeat,” he said.
