The IAF AFCAT 1 Exam 2026 Registration hasstarts today on 17 Nov, 2025. Candidates who want to become flying officers can apply for the test on the official website afcat.edcil.co.in. During the one-year training period, flying cadets will receive a fixed stipend of Rs. 56,100. Officers will earn between Rs. 56,100 and Rs. 1,77,500. Applications for the special entry scheme (for flying posts only) are also open, along with the SSC scheme.
Applications are open for the Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches. For NCC Special Entry, the IAF offers posts for the Flying branch, which includes 10 percent of seats from CDSE vacancies and 10 percent from AFCAT vacancies.

- Complete the necessary steps, and you will be successfully registered for the 2026 test.
The last date to apply is December 14, 2025. The selection process for the flying officer position includes a written test, a two-stage selection at the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB), and a medical examination. The final result will be an All-India merit list.
