A shocking case of mass cheating has emerged from Chandrapur district in Maharashtra. Students taking the BA Civil Services exam allowed to use mobile phones inside the exam hall.
This incident has caused outrage after videos went viral on social media. It raises serious concerns about the fairness of the exam process and the actions of officials at the center.
Students Pay Rs 300 for cheating in Exam In Maharashtra
This event occurred on April 22 at Sarvodaya College, which is affiliated with Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University. Allegations state that students could carry and use mobile phones during the exam for a payment of Rs 300.
Videos circulating online seem to show students openly using their phones, searching for answers on Google, and writing them down in their answer sheets without fear of being monitored.
Three candidate share single bench in exams
Reports also mention poor infrastructure and overcrowding at the center. Nearly 400 students were taking exams there, with up to three candidates sharing a single bench. Due to a lack of space, some students had to sit on the floor while taking their exams. Authorities have not yet provided a detailed official response.
Earlier this month, a cheating racket uncovered in Dwarka, Delhi. This scheme involved remote access to computer systems and outsourcing answers to college students. It led to the arrest of a key suspect and the detention of 32 students.
