Union Education Minister Shares Letter From Tamil Nadu to set up PM SHRI Schools

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan posted the letter from the Tamil Nadu school education department to state that they are “ very keen” to set up PM SHRI Schools. Because Union Minister launched a counter-attack against the DMK after allegations that he misled parliament.  Mr Pradhan Criticising Tamil Nadu’s ruling DMK government. He said that they playing politics over three-language initiative in the New Education Policy (NEP). Union Education Minister Shares Letter and said in Lok sabha, “They (DMK) are dishonest, not committed to students of Tamil Nadu.

They ruin the future of Tamil Nadu students. Their work is to raise the language barriers. They doing politics. They make mischief. They are undemocratic and uncivilized, he said.”

DMK initiated a privilege motion with MP Kanimozhi NVN Somu. He requests Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to take action for “contempt of the house”. DMK MP’s notice said that Mr Pradhan’s claim that the Tamil Nadu government took U-turn. After agreeing to sign an MoU with the Centre to set up PM SHRI Schools in state was  was “factually incorrect and mislead house and against official records.” He post the letter dated March 15, 2024 from the Tamil Nadu education department. This letter is posted to prove his point made in house.

Education Minister Hits Back

After Union Education Minister Shares Letter , Tamil Nadu Education Minister Anbil Mahesh refuted his allegations that the state made instant change in its stance on PM SHRI Schools. Mr Mahesh, point at the letter and said it clearly mentioned that a committee will be formed and on basis of findings, the the state will decide on implementation of the Centre’s initiative.
