Akshay Kumar Unveils Chilling Bhooth Bangla Motion Poster

Akshay Kumar shared an eye-catching first-look motion poster of his much-anticipated horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla on Tuesday. He posted an intriguing glimpse of his character on Instagram on February 24, generating excitement among fans.

Akshay Kumar reveals Bhooth Bangla Motion Poster

The motion poster shows Akshay in a dramatic ‘tantrik-like’ look, which is a clear departure from his recent roles. He is seated shirtless on a spooky, intricately carved throne covered in demonic faces. Wearing black sunglasses and several strands of Rudraksha beads, he holds a rosary and appears to be mid-scream, his mouth wide open. This intense yet theatrical visual hints at the film’s horror-comedy vibe.

Film set to release on 15 May

The poster came with a playful caption that said, “Duskodenge das-tak, intezarkaro tab tak… Let the fun begin!” Akshay also announced that Bhooth Bangla’s release moved up. The film, originally set for May 15, will now hit theaters on April 10, 2026.

Bhooth Bangla marks the long-awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan after nearly 16 years. The two last worked together on Khatta Meetha in 2010. The film features an impressive cast, including Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Wamiqa Gabbi, and veteran actor Asrani.

Produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor, Bhooth Bangla is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, along with Cape of Good Films.
