Kareena said the intruder was “extremely aggressive” and was first spotted in the bedroom of their younger son, Jehangir (Jeh). A house help raised the alarm, prompting Saif to intervene, shielding Kareena, their children, and the household staff. Kareena said Saif’s brave act probably saved a bigger tragedy.
When Kareena and others ran upstairs into the apartment, Saif stood his ground, confronting the assailant. After the attack, Saif was taken to Lilavati Hospital, where, according to reports, he was accompanied by his seven-year-old son, Taimur, in an auto-rickshaw. Doctors and witnesses have since confirmed this fact. The report earlier stated that Saif’s eldest son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, accompanied him.
Doctor defines Saif as a real hero
Dr. Niraj Uttamani, who treated Saif, described his remarkable composure during the ordeal. “Saif Ali Khan walked into the hospital covered in blood but exuded courage. He’s a real hero,” the doctor said during a press briefing.
Adding to the mystery, Kareena said that the intruder did not touch the valuable jewelry kept in open view. She also spoke about her fear and distress, stating that her sister, Karisma Kapoor, took her home after the incident.
In an Instagram post, Kareena described the day as “incredibly challenging” for her family and asked for privacy as they navigate this difficult time.
The police are investigating the attacker’s motives and how security was breached in the high-rise building. The case has sent shockwaves in both Bollywood and fans as many are complimenting Saif on his bravery.
