Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 4, Film see massive 50% drop in earnings, Earned Rs 9.75 Crore

Salman Khan’s movie Sikandar faces trouble after a huge 50% drop in income. The movie is remarked by Salman Khan on Eid comeback after a 1 year break. As per Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 4, It is currently underperform at the box office after the Eid festival holidays. Rashmika Mandanna’s and Salman Khan the movie witnessed a massive 50% drop in earnings on 2 April (Wednesday), as per reports.

Sikandar, released on March 30, controlled to earn Rs 26 crore on its beginning day. On Eid, the film earned Rs 29 crore, observed by Rs 19.5 crore on Tuesday (April 1). The film’s total earnings at the box office stand at Rs 84.25 crore (internet) after 4 days of its launch. The film was made on a budget of Rs 200 crore.

The poor performances of big-budget Hindi movies in theatres initiated a conversation around the “dying” state of Bollywood for some time. Salman Khan’s Sikandar could upload more energy to the ongoing chatter. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, which smashed data after records in December 2024, earned Rs 85 crore (internet) in Hindi on its 4th day of release (December 8).  Sikandar’s underperformance added the South vs Hindi movies debate to the leading edge for one more time.

Sikandar marked Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s first collaboration on screen. It also marked Salman Khan’s first project with AR Murugadoss, who previously directed Aamir Khan in the 2008 blockbuster Ghajini.

As per Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 4, the movie has been bankrolled through Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The movie exceeded Salman Khan’s remaining Eid release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which had minted Rs 15 crore on its opening day. However, Sikandar could not beat the outlet collections of Tiger Zinda Hai, which earned Rs 33 crore on Day 1.
