Fans have finally got to see the much-awaited trailer of Game Changer, which promises to be one of the grandest spectacles that Telugu cinema has ever seen. Director Shankar has woven around his lead stars, Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, who star in this film, ready for release on January 10, in time for Sankranti celebrations.
Ram Charan appears in dual avatars as father and son against political corruption and the main antagonist is played by SJ Suryah. The trailer has shown us a wide variety of avatars Ram Charan takes on and he appears as a college-going student, a police officer, an IAS officer, an election officer, a farmer, and a political leader. He shows his versatile nature in all the roles which establishes him to be the very Game Changer who is coming to change things around.
The trailer is full of Shankar’s signature style of infusing social themes with cinematic grandeur. Famous for Mudhalvan and Indian, Shankar again weaves an ambitious story, this time taking on corruption in the political system. The visuals are as grand as ever, with meticulously choreographed action sequences and intense drama.
But what gives more to this is Thaman’s electrifying background score that really ups the mass appeal of the film. From the songs to the trailer, it’s pretty clear that the movie would be a visual and emotional extravaganza – the stock of Shankar who has got to deliver crowd-pleasers on an epic scale.

Other important cast members of the movie include SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Samuthirakani, Anjali, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, and Srikanth. The trailer release function was attended by SS Rajamouli, who described Shankar as the “Sachin Tendulkar of Indian cinema.”
Game Changer, a production by legendary producer Dil Raju, will be his 50th. He will be starting the Sankranti festive season with Daaku Maharaj, the Nandamuri Balakrishna film set to release on January 12, and the Venkatesh starrer Sankranthiki Vasthunaam on January 14.
Fans are counting down the days till Game Changer, as it will be an action-packed drama with social commentary.
