The a much-awaited moment is right here. Shah Rukh Khan has made his debut at the big fashion night of the year, Met Gala 2025. Shah Rukh Khan rocked in all-black look. He wore a king size black trench coat layered over an unbuttoned blouse from the cabinets of Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Shah Rukh Khan accessorized his appearance with heavy and chunky jewellery – from choker chains to announcement diamond-studded pendants emblazoned with “K” and “SRK” and a set of extravagant earrings. A tiger-crowned on foot stick brought charisma to his effective debut at the blue carpet of the Met Gala.

Ahead of his debut, his manager Pooja Dadlani shared a few photos of the superstar on her Instagram feed. Shah Rukh Khan posed, smiled and waved at fans at the blue carpet. He also did his signature pose at the big fashion night time of the year. The theme of this years’s Met Gala is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.
It’s inspired by Monica L Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, published in 2009. This year’s Met Gala get dressed code is “Tailored for You” – a connection with the suiting and menswear which capabilities in the exhibition.

This is the first Met Gala 2025 in more than two many years to focus only on menswear. “The theme this years not only timely,” stated Gala committee member Usher, “but also speaks to our rich subculture that need to always broadly celebrated.” The Met says the display “offers a cultural and historic test of black fashion from the 18th Century to today, through the lens of dandyism”.
The occasion co-powered by singer Pharrell Williams, actor Colman Domingo, F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, rapper A$AP Rocky and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Basketball legend LeBron James served as an honorary co-chair.
