Diwali 2024 Bank Holidays: All Banks to be Closed on November 2024

The bank holidays due to the extended Diwali 2024 will continue on November 2, with Lakshmi Puja and Govardhan Puja closing the states of Rajasthan, Sikkim, and Gujarat. Even though it is the first Saturday of the month, banks in these regions will be closed as they would have considered the day a part of the Diwali holiday series. Lastly, all banks will remain closed throughout the country on Sunday, November 3, as it falls on a standard non-working day in India.
