Choti Holi 2025 puja vidhi and samagri
Holika Dahan 2025 celebrations start at night with a sacred bonfire. It symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Hindus come together with family, friends, and community members and perform Holika Puja. Before lightens the fire, devotees worship the wood pile by wrap it with white thread three or seven times and gives holy water, kumkum, and flowers. They roast the green cereals on fire and perform this significant tradition.
To perform the ritual, people follow a list of puja samagri, includes Gangajal (holy water), a cow dung garland, akshat (unbroken rice), flowers, roli, moli (sacred thread), jaggery, turmeric, moong dal, batashe (sugar discs), gulal (colored powder), coconut, and wheat baaliyan (ears of wheat).
