Vaisakhi, also called Baisakhi, is the spring harvest festival that is widely known in the Punjab area by all Punjabis, irrespective of their faith. Vaisakhi 2025 is also celebrated as Sikh New Year based at the Hindu Solar calendar. The day is commonly celebrated on April 13 or 14 each year. It also commemorates the formation of the Khalsa in 1699 through Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Sikh Guru.
