The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched the March 2026 round of the Rural and Urban Consumer Confidence Survey. The RBI regularly conducts these Surveys.
The Rural Consumer Confidence Survey collects current views and expectations for the next year. It collects from households about the economic situation, job market, price levels, personal income, and spending.
RBI launches Rural and Urban Consumer Confidence Survey
This survey targets households in rural and semi-urban areas across 31 states and Union Territories. It includes Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and more.
Ipsos Research Private Ltd. from Gurugram is conducting this round of the survey on behalf of the Reserve Bank of India.
Analyze economic condition
The Urban Consumer Confidence Survey gathers qualitative feedback from households regarding their feelings about the economic situation, job market, price levels, and household income and spending. This survey occurs regularly in 19 cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, etc.
M/s Hansa Research Group Pvt. Ltd. from Mumbai is conducting this round of the survey on behalf of the Reserve Bank of India. RBI said that the results of this survey provide valuable information for monetary policy.
