Gujarat Police Bust Fake Milk Factory Mixing Detergent and Urea, Seized Items worth 71 lakh

The Gujarat Police raided a factory suspected of producing milk with toxic chemicals in the Salal area of Prantijtaluka district. They detained five people and seized goods worth over ₹71 lakh during the operation.

According to the police, this illegal activity took place at a unit called Shri Satya Dairy Products, located near the railway crossing in Salal. The factory was reportedly making adulterated milk using harmful substances like urea fertilizer, detergent powder, cosmetic soda, palmolein oil, and milk powder. This posed a serious health risk to consumers.

Police carried out a raid with teams from the Food and Drugs Department and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).

Seized Adulterated milk of 71 lakh

During the operation, officials seized large amounts of adulterated milk, raw materials, and equipment used in the production process, totaling more than ₹71 lakh.

Gujarat Police reported that five suspects have been arrested in relation to the case. An investigation is ongoing to trace the supply chain and distribution network of the adulterated milk. This timely action helped prevent the spread of a dangerous product and protected public health.
