The sleuths of the Hyderabad Task Force, along with the H-Fast team, carried out a surprise inspection at SKR Food Products in Kattedan. They arrested a person for making ginger paste in unsanitary conditions.
SKR Food Products owner Hasan Ali Rupani arrested
The person arrested is Hasan Ali Rupani, 55, the owner of SKR Food Products and a resident of Abids. During the inspection, police found him making ginger and garlic paste in plastic containers that were not clean.
The production used low-quality raw materials and garlic peels, which indicated contamination. Additionally, he was mixing in substances like acetic acid and gum powder.

The paste stored in open plastic tubs, exposing it to dust, flies, and other contaminants. He did not provide packaging material or a food-grade certificate. Food handlers were using wooden sticks to grind the ginger and garlic paste.
The tainted product supplied to wholesale stores and catering services, posing a serious risk to public health. This activity seems to conducted for illegal financial gain, according to Vaibhav Gaikwad Raghunath, the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Task Force.
