The Government of India has improved its Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) to consists a unique provision for older citizens aged 70 and above. Eligible individuals can get access to as much as Rs 5 lakh in free medical treatment annually. However, the initiative, led by National Health Authority (NHA), allow beneficiaries to get access to cashless treatment at both public and private hospitals. This development marks a big step closer to providing comprehensive healthcare insurance to the old age population.
Ayushman card online Provided to Old Age people
The Ayushman Bharat Vay Vandana Card, available via the Ayushman App or website, helps this benefits. The government is introducing a new provision for people aged 70 and above to obtain their Ayushman Vay Vandana Card by Ayushman App. This will permit them to get access to up to Rs 5 lakh in free medical treatment every year. In a statement, the Health ministry referred to that people can watch a video tutorial to guide them via the procedure of creating their Ayushman Vay Vandana Card. It give them access to essential healthcare services.
The Ministry of Health said: “Senior residents of 70 and above can now get their Ayushman Vay Vandana Card through App and access Rs 5 lakh of free treatment.
