Veteran actor Prem Chopra has admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. He is 92 years old. Cardiologist Dr. Nitin Gokhale confirmed the actor’s hospital stay. According to the news agency PTI, he was hospitalized due to a viral infection and complications related to aging. He is now recovering well.
Prem Chopra has been admitted under the care of Dr. Nitin Gokhale. “He has a known heart condition, and he also had a viral infection, which is why I’m treating him for his lungs. He is not in the ICU; he is in the ward,” said Dr. Jalil Parkar of Lilavati Hospital.

He added, “At 92, he has age-related issues that slow down his recovery a bit. He should be fine in another three to four days and go home.”
Meanwhile, actor Sharman Joshi, who is married to Prem Chopra’s daughter Prerana Chopra, said, “All good, thank you, just some tests, back tomorrow.”

Over a career that spans more than six decades, he has appeared in 380 films and has become one of Hindi cinema’s most iconic villains. Some of his most notable films include Woh Kaun Thi?
