A major accident occurs on Mumbai’s Senapati Bapat flyover on Saturday afternoon, wherein a vehicle and a kaali-peeli (black-yellow) taxi collided head-on, which caused the death of a 2 people. At 1:15 pm, a Mahindra SUV collided with the taxi, a Santro vehicle, on the Senapati Bapat Flyover, resulting in the 2 killed in SUV Collision , include taxi driver and a girl passenger. The incident happened while the taxi going toward Chichpokli, while the SUV was headed towards Bandra.
2 killed in SUV Collision, Police Detained SUV Driving Force
The police have detained the SUV driving force. Horrifying visuals from the spot display the female passenger in the taxi caught in the accident, with half her body placing out of the car window. The bonnet and the front seats of the cab destroyed in the accident.
The SUV’s bonnet, windshield, and front tyres also destroyed in the accident. Visuals show deflated airbags in the SUV, which should have deployed due to the impact of the collision. The police have reached the spot. An ambulance deployed to take each person injured to the hospital.

He was run over by a lifter machine allegedly being operated by a 24-year-old man in the dead of night on March 19, 2025. The incident took place in a transport container backyard in Navi Mumbai’s Uran while the device operator failed to observe the victim’s presence.
The deceased identified as Eknath Ragho Patil, and the lifter system operator identified as Mohammad Aslam Jaish Mohammad Khan. Patil was on obligation whilst Aslam was operating the machine and lost control, which led to the accident.
