Three girls died, and another is in critical condition after they were swept away by a waterfall in Andhra Pradesh of ASR district on April 9, Thursday.
According to reports, the incident happened while the four girls were taking a selfie at the waterfall. Three girls died at the scene, while one was taken to the hospital, where her condition is critical. The deceased were identified as Trisha, 17, Ratnakumari, 16, and Pavitra, 16. All four girls recently taken the Intermediate examination.

As per the police, Anjali was taking pictures of the three girls as they stood on rocks near the waterfall’s edge. They lost their balance and fell into the water. She called for help and jumped in to save them, but she also began to drown.
Bystanders rushed to the scene and managed to rescue only Anjali. The three who died were students at a nearby government school. Their unexpected deaths have shocked the local community. The ASR police have opened a case and confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
