At least 4 people were killed in Delhi building collapse in the early hours of Saturday, with around 12 people feared trapped under the debris, police stated. The incident happened in the Mustafabad area. According to the police, as a minimum, 14 people had been rescued to date and had been shifted to the GTB Hospital, wherein 4 had been declared dead upon arrival. The incident was occurs at 3:02 am.
Rescue groups from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), firefighters, and Delhi Police have rushed to the spot. The police similarly stated that they’re probing the reason behind the building’s fall apart.

A senior professional highlighted the problem being confronted by the rescue groups in moving heavy equipment in the congested alleys of Mustafabad to clear the debris, adding that around 12 people are trapped. In the CCTV pictures shared by a local resident at around 2:30 am on Saturday, the precise moment of the crumble has been captured. A big gust of wind and dust may be seen blowing throughout the alley, just after the building collapsed.
Other Collapse Cases
Last week, two people were killed and 3 injured in separate incidents – a Delhi building collapse disintegrated and a wall collapsed – in the Delhi-NCR place. An under-production wall on the 6th floor of a construction in Delhi’s Madhu Vihar resulted in the death of a 67-year-old man.
A different incident, a wall falling apart, was stated in Delhi’s Karol Bagh area. A 13-year-old boy was killed as a newly-constructed balcony at the third ground collapsed on top of him as he was crossing the streets at that point.
